Pump House Bakes

Found this little gem of a place whilst looking for a dog friendly place to have a light bite. Could not have had a warmer welcome with our dogs having a big fuss and a treat as well. Had a delicious pot of tea with a slice of carrot and walnut cake (delicious) for me and a slice millionaire's shortbread for the missus. Couldn't resist taking some Hevva cake and sausage rolls home, which we have just shared with my mum, who declared the sausage roll was the best she has ever eaten ! Be back soon.

Fantastic little coffee shop and bakery with the most amazing homemade (on the premises) sausage rolls and cakes by the owner, who also serves all visitors. I had a sausage roll and a piece of orange polenta cake with a coffee there. Then bought another sausage roll, Eccles cake and cheese scone to take away. Would highly recommend to everyone, can't wait to go back. It's also dog friendly ⬛

I asked if they could make 30 cupcakes for a birthday event for elderly mum AND a big birthday cake for a family get together for mum a few days later. Mum likes bright colours and fresh flowers and, after a phone chat, the brief was followed really well and all the cakes looked lovely and tasted delicious. Sponge was light and lemon curd was lovely. Good quality ingredients were used. Couldn't have been better! Thank you SO MUCH Pump House Bakes!

Absolutely lovely little cafe! Pump House Bakes is the perfect stop whether you're walking the Clarendon Way or just looking for a regular treat - ideal for locals or anyone in the area. The homemade cakes are delicious, and the warm, friendly atmosphere makes it a real gem. It's a small, family-run business, and they always post their opening hours clearly on their Instagram page @pumphousebakes Highly recommended!

We popped into Pump House Bakery today on route to our family in Donhead St Andrew. We were absolutely blown away by the sausage roll, cake and more importantly smiley, happy service! It was a gem of a find and we will definitely be returning on route when we return.

Recently moved to the area and found this absolute gem of a place to visit. If the latte is good then it goes on my list as a regular visit and this place not only was the latte perfect the sausage rolls and cakes were amazing! Not to mention the very friendly service.

Delightful family run cafe with excellent coffee and delicious homemade produce. Sausage rolls are the best I’ve best tasted.(and I consider myself an obsessive)

Lovely laid back place, were you are given a warm welcome. Much better than a soulless chain coffee shop, great cake and amazing sausage rolls. Coffee and earl grey tea very good standard. Perfect place to unwind if passing nearby.
